- 20 different subjects
- 50 different images/compositions
- all including great contrast &/or shadows
- we will convert these to black and white next week
This is your first assignment where there are NO parameters on subject matter, shoot abstract, portrait, landscape, or anything else. The only requirement is that you seek out shadows and/or contrast so your images will be vivid and interesting in black and white. Images that do not contain contrast and shadows end up dull and grey when black and white. Our goal if for your images to be vibrant, even in the absence of color, this is done with contrast, shadows, and creative compositions!
consider your subject, background, and lighting for each pic. Anything not completed in class is homework.
